Black Phantom Quartz Crystal Point Phantom quartz is formed when the growth of a crystal is interupted and resumes. Leaving a point inside another point. These are like “ghosts” inside the crystal point, hence the name Phantom. The black phantoms have other inclusions that were deposited during the on the interruption of the crystal growth.
