Hot uses On Gas Range or Grill: heat your Himalayan salt plate on a low flame until warm, then gradually increase the heat to the desired temperature and cook for around 17-20 minutes.

In Oven: heat the Himalayan salt plate at 250 degrees for 8-10 minutes, then increase to 400F.

Caring for your Himalayan Salt Dish After each use, wash your Himalayan salt plate with warm water and a soft brush or green scrubby, and pat dry with a paper towel before setting on a drying rack. This will remove a very thin layer of the salt and make it ready for use again. Treated with care, a large salt slab will provide years of service! In addition, the powerful antimicrobial properties of the salt ensure that it is always proper and ready for future use, with no need for detergents.
