Goniatite Polished Fossil #2
In their fossilized state, these Moroccan Goniatites are coiled shells with distinctive patterns.
Highly polished, ranging in hue from white to black morphological characteristics such as distinct suture lines. The Fossil measures up to 1 ¾” wide, making it a great gift for a collector’s specimen.
Goniatites mined in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains are a near relative of ammonites fossilized in the surrounding rock. This beautifully polished piece of history (225 to 345 million years old) displays natural patterns on the Goniatite fossil.
