Stibnite Crystal Cluster Laser Unique #1

This is a remarkable cluster of stibnite crystals with druzy quartz. The stibnite crystals have great metallic luster, fine striations and are in overall a good shape.

Stibnite is a lead-gray mineral, usually occurring as striated prismatic crystals.

It often forms groups of long, shiny metallic crystals radiating out at different angles, which look like something out of a sci-fi movie.

Stibnite, sometimes called antimonite. This soft grey material is lead to steel-gray in colour.

Stibnite forms as orthorhombic crystals that are heavily striated along the prism’s length.

Stibnite is used in the manufacture of matches, fireworks, and percussion caps.

It is the most important source for the metalloid antimony “Atomic #51” sulfide mineral formula Sb2S3.
