Stocking incense
Incense is one of the most dependable repeat purchases in a crystal or gift shop. It is small, inexpensive, used up and bought again. This collection holds our sticks and cones from Satya, HEM and other makers, in classic scents such as Nag Champa, sandalwood, lavender, dragon's blood and sage.

Sticks and cones
Sticks burn longer and are the familiar format; cones give a stronger scent in a shorter time and need a heat-proof dish. Most shops carry both, with sticks as the main range.
Building a range
- Start with the best-known scents: Nag Champa, sandalwood, lavender, white sage and dragon's blood.
- Add a few seasonal or novelty scents and rotate them.
- Keep a tester or an open box nearby; scent sells scent.
Pack sizes
Satya flat boxes are sold by weight (usually 15 g) rather than stick count, because stick numbers vary. HEM hexagonal boxes hold 20 sticks.
Aromatherapy & Cleansing FAQ
How much incense is in a Satya box?
Satya flat boxes are sold by weight, usually 15 g. The stick count varies slightly from box to box, which is why the box is labelled by weight.
What is the difference between HEM and Satya?
They are two Indian incense makers with different scent ranges and box formats. Satya is best known for Nag Champa; HEM sells a wide range of scents in hexagonal boxes of 20 sticks.
Do you sell incense holders?
Yes. Look for incense holders, burners and dishes in the Home & Gift section.
