What Petrified Wood means
Petrified Wood is traditionally associated with grounding, calm, and acceptance. Many people use it as a reminder to stay steady through change and to honour slow, natural growth. It is often linked with the Root Chakra, and some also connect it with the Heart, Solar Plexus, Throat, Third Eye, and Crown chakras. This stone is also commonly chosen by those drawn to patient, rooted energy and a sense of stability.

Look and feel
This material shows the fossilised structure of ancient wood, usually with earthy browns, tans, greys, and occasional cream tones. Polished tumbled stones often reveal fine grain lines, branching patterns, and wood-like banding that make each piece distinct. These stones come from Madagascar and are offered in a mixed grade with natural variation in colour and pattern. Petrified Wood is a natural fossil material, not a dyed or treated stone.
