Amazonite is named after the Amazon River from which it was claimed to be found. It is a feldspar prized for its magnificent blue-green colors.
The piece for sale is mostly green all around with some whiter areas. There are also reddish brown spots, though this is natural to the stone. This specimen is very rare for its size and will make for an impressive display. Note: This product is fairly brittle and must be handled with care.
